S SoftSolid
About us

Since 2006 we have been building systems that companies earn on

We are a Polish software house near Poznań. We advise on platform choice, deploy stores and marketplaces, and then keep them running for years. The same team is behind our AI products today.

Who we are

SoftSolid was founded in September 2006 in Rokietnica near Poznań, and from day one it has done the same thing: write software meant to stand in production and earn money, not to look good in a demo. We started with custom business applications and, as online trade grew, shifted our weight to commerce platforms. In time we became the official distributor of CS-Cart and Multi-Vendor in Poland and a partner of the vendor, Simtech.

Over those years we have built and still maintain more than fifty stores and marketplaces, from one-person businesses to multi-vendor platforms serving hundreds of sellers. Our clients sell in Poland, Germany, the Czech Republic, Romania, Belgium, Switzerland, Latvia and Ukraine, as well as in Brazil, the United States and Australia. A good share of them have been with us for several years or longer.

The AI products on this site grow directly out of those deployments. An assistant built on company knowledge, an MCP server for CS-Cart and modules for PrestaShop exist because we know exactly what is missing in the daily work of a store and a back office. Hence our two stubborn assumptions: a tool should fit into the existing process instead of rearranging it, and data should stay wherever its owner wants it.

How you work with us

Three areas in which we can carry a project from the first conversation all the way to running the finished system.

Consulting

An audit of your current store, the choice of platform and architecture, and an implementation plan broken into stages with a quote. We check whether what you want to build can be done more cheaply on standard features, and we say plainly when it is not worth doing. We also run training for the teams operating the store and advise on opening sales in a new market.

  • Technical and performance audit
  • Platform choice: CS-Cart, Multi-Vendor, PrestaShop
  • AI deployment design and business case
  • Team training

Implementation

Building a store or marketplace from scratch or migrating from another platform, together with modules written for the client's specific process. We integrate with the systems you already use every day, and on the AI side we launch the assistant in the cloud or entirely on your own servers.

  • CS-Cart stores and Multi-Vendor marketplaces
  • Custom modules and core extensions
  • Integrations: Baselinker, PayU, Przelewy24, InPost, DHL, InvoiceOcean, SalesManago, Ceneo, DeepL
  • AI assistant deployments, cloud or on-premise

Managed services

A deployment is the beginning of the relationship, not the end. We run live instances: we update the core and modules, watch performance, respond to tickets and develop features in further iterations. For the AI assistant this also covers the infrastructure, the models and the knowledge base.

  • Core, module and security updates
  • Performance monitoring and incident response
  • Feature development in further iterations
  • Hosting and upkeep of the AI assistant and its models

The team

Our team consists of specialists who sharpened their skills over years of working together on complex projects for demanding clients. The same people run both the e-commerce deployments and the AI products.

R

Robert Diak

CEO, developer

Has run the company since it was founded in 2006. Responsible for solution architecture, the development of CS-Cart and Multi-Vendor add-ons, and for the AI products we build on the same knowledge.

A

Amelia

Developer

The back end of stores and marketplaces: modules written for the client's process, integrations with external systems, data migrations between platforms.

M

Marcin

JavaScript, CSS

The front-end layer of deployments: themes, catalogue and checkout views, and shaping the admin interface around how the client's team actually works.

M

Magda

Marketing

Communication, content and client contact. Makes sure that what we promise on the site matches what the team actually delivers.

How we run projects

We work the same way on an add-on worth a few thousand and on a marketplace built over six months. Below is what stays constant regardless of scale.

Sprints and retrospectives

Projects and the development of our own add-ons run on SCRUM. After every sprint we hold a retrospective so the next stretch of work goes better than the last.

Code in Git repositories

Every add-on and every deployment has its own Git repository. The change history is complete, so any version can be reproduced and rolled back, and the client is never left with code whose origin nobody knows.

Code review before release

Every change in the repository is reviewed by the person supervising the project. Nothing reaches production as code seen only by its author.

Tickets and documentation

Ideas and bugs go into JIRA, project assumptions into Confluence. Decisions made a year ago can still be found, and post-launch support does not rest on somebody's memory.
